Environmental sustainability
Zyxel is taking proactive actions to minimize our carbon footprint while driving seamless, fast, and efficient connectivity everywhere through our innovative technology.
Zyxel's greenhouse gas emissions management policy is based on the ISO 14064 standard. Our current greenhouse gas inventory includes direct (scope 1) and energy indirect (scope 2) sources. In 2021, we reported 76.84 tons of scope 1 and 486.5 tons of scope 2. Our total greenhouse gas emissions were 563.34 tons of CO2 equivalent.
In 2019, Zyxel American Headquarters implemented a 200kW solar system to supply approximately 90 percent of the power required to operate its Anaheim-based facilities. This marks an important milestone in Zyxel’s aggressive program to reduce its carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency

We established versatile communication channels for each stakeholder and continued to conduct materiality analysis to ensure our sustainability strategies and action plans are on the same track as stakeholders’ concerns.
Zyxel requires all stakeholders to adhere to integrity and ethics and abide by the Code of Conduct regarding the following topics — regulation compliance, anti-corruption, fair trade, intellectual property, information security, and conflicts of interest.
